Business has definitely slowed in Long Beach, CA but I'm surviving with more direct notary work.
My website has increased my direct notary work, I at least get 5 to 10 calls a week.
That's great....My website is also a big asset to my business. Until this low spot in business starts to rise I beleive we must go back to our roots of general notary work. Here in PA the majority of notaries are title clerks for DMV. My office now does DMV and is also taking on field services. Good Luck and chin up!!
I have gone from 16 notaries to 2 full time and 2 part-time. Truth is though, January and February are better than I thought they would be.
I believe a lot of notaries got out in Los Angeles. I have gotten several new clients because of Notaries getting "real jobs".
